KfW Development Bank
As part of the state-owned bank KfW Bankengruppe, KfW Entwicklungsbank is a competent adviser on current developmental issues. Its main priorities are to reduce poverty, protect the climate and natural resources, secure the peace and help to shape globalisation.
On behalf of the German Government KfW Entwicklungsbank works to achieve the goals of German Development Cooperation - to reduce poverty, protect the climate, secure the peace and make globalisation a success particularly for people living in poor regions of the world.
With a focus on the needs of the partner countries, KfW finances, advises and accompanies development projects around the world. Together with other countries, with the organisations of the global community and local institutions, we help people in the partner countries to improve their livelihoods in a sustainable way.
